Instagram has become one of the world's largest social media platforms. But, like any popular platform, it has its share of secrets. Here are some of the hidden secrets of Instagram you may not know about.
1. Use the Search Feature
The Instagram search tool is a powerful tool that can help you find posts, hashtags, and accounts related to topics you’re interested in. It’s easy to use and can be a great way to discover new content. Just type in the search bar at the top of the app and you’ll be presented with a list of suggestions.
2. See Your Followers’ Latest Activity
If you want to know what your followers are up to, head to the “Following” tab in your profile. Here, you can see the latest posts and stories by the people you follow.
3. Archive Posts
If you want to keep a post, but don’t want it to appear on your profile, you can archive it. Archived posts are hidden from your profile, but they’re still accessible in case you want to share them in the future.
If you want to be notified when someone you follow posts something new, you can turn on post notifications for them. To do this, go to their profile and tap the three dots in the top right-hand corner. From there, you’ll see the option to turn on post notifications. 5. Hide Your Story Viewers If you’d like to keep your story viewers private, you can do so by going to your story settings. Here, you can choose to hide your list of story viewers from everyone or just select people. 6. Customize Your Profile Link If you want a custom link for your profile, you can create one. To do this, go to your profile settings and select the option to customize your profile link. From there, you can create a custom URL that you can share with others. 7. Save Drafts If you’re working on a post and need to come back to it later, you can save it as a draft. To do this, tap the “Save Draft” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the post creation page. Your draft will be stored in the “Drafts” tab in your profile. These are just a few of the hidden secrets of Instagram. With a little exploration, you’ll find that there are many more features and tools that can help you get the most out of your Instagram experience.
